Ninja 250SL

Hailed from the light and nimble supersport Ninjas, the Ninja 250SL was designed to be lightest and most nimble among the Ninja family. Designed to be the ultimate bike for the sports-minded urban commuter, the Ninja 250SL’s quick revving engine is at its happiest when being revved where its engine quickly spins up to its high RPM range, allowing riders to tap into its strong power and healthy over-rev.

Super Light Weight

Imagine riding on a feather – a high-revving, hard-accelerating feather – and you have an idea of what it is like to pilot Kawasaki’s latest aggressive SL series. Designed for the sports-minded urban commuter, it offers a sporty Ninja-based performance in a slim, lightweight and compact package. With its quick, nimble handling, and aggressive ergonomics, navigating the concrete jungle has never been so effortless – or made you look so good.

Engine

The Ninja 250SL is powered by a 249 cm3 liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC 4-valve single-cylinder engine that offers quick-revving, sporty performance in a compact package. Fuel injection ensures smooth, easy-to-control power delivery at all rpm. Typical of a 4-stroke, it has robust low-mid range torque for good initial pickup. Happiest when it is being revved, the engine quickly spins up into the high rpm range, where riders can tap into its strong power and healthy over-rev.

Trellis Frame

Composed of high-tensile steel main tubes with steel trusses to ensure an optimum rigidity balance, the SL’s trellis frame contributes to its light, nimble handling. In addition to being a key component in the bike’s lightweight, slim design, the elegant frame adds to the SL’s cool, sexy looks.

Uni-Track Suspension

Complementing the 37 mm telescopic fork, the linkage-equipped Uni-Trak rear suspension (with 5-way adjustable preload) contributes to both lightweight handling and riding stability. The shock linkage decreases leverage on the shock as the suspension is compressed. Damping is very light for small bumps, and stronger for big bumps.
